Since 2003, ICDP trainer, Alla Magidson has been
developing ICDP in Haifa. She was originally trained by ICDP in
Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine where she was one of the key persons involved
in spreading ICDP, until she moved to Israel.
In Haifa ICDP is currently being implemented at
the education centre called “Mofet”. The aims of the
"Mofet" organization focus on improving the quality of
education in Israel in general, and they also run a school. ICDP
is considered a tool that has been contributing towards the improvement
of the general atmosphere in the Mofet school, particularly in the
interaction between the teachers, children and their parents. Plans
are made to introduce ICDP in the newly opened Mofet kindergarten,
for children between 3 months and 6 years of age.
